Come 2030, no new Internal Combustion Engine [ICE] cars will be sold in the UK. Sales of Hybrids will follow, ending in 2035. The scheme was first announced in 2017, when the original proposed date was 2040. Fast-forward to February 2019, PM Boris Johnson brings forward the ban on new petrol and diesel cars to 2030.
